I like this photo because I learned how to edit the photo so part was black and white and the rest was colorful. This makes the boots in the picture really stand out. Also, the snow on the rock has a very textured look. Almost as if one could touch it.
This photo is very creepy to me. By using colorful lights in the darkroom, I had Natalie move the light around her body with a long exposure on the camera. The light hit Natalie just right so that part of her face is showing, giving the picture a creepy look. Also, my subject isn't in the center of the picture, she is to the side which follows the rule of thirds.
This is one of my favorite pictures. I love the texture and look of the water. The water looks almost magical. Its so clear. This picture also follows the rule of thirds. This photo was taken at the college in the fountain.
2nd FAVORITE: This was another photo taken at the college and another one of my favorites. I like this photo because of the contrast between the black statue and the clear water. The movement of water can be seen in this photo and the water droplets are very sharp.
This photo is of leaves and water and was taken a different type of lens. To get this picture I had to get very up close and this picture was clearer then I first expected. The water shows texture and is very tangible.
3rd FAVORITE: This is another one of my favorite pictures because it shows happiness. Both of my subjects are laughing and smiling, making this the perfect candid. Its clear and I think the black and white makes the picture simple. Happiness is simple.
This photo was taken in the classroom sink. I like this photo because the paint is a pop of color and draws the viewers attention directly too it. This photo is also in black and white adding to its simplicity.
This is one of my favorite photos. It was taken early in my photo career and turned out better then expected. The water looks as if it is moving and is very clear. The contrast between the dark water and bright white snowball adds to this picture.
1st FAVORITE: This is also one of my top 3 photos. I flipped the picture horizontally and vertically. It leaves the viewers thoughts up to their imagination. Originally a tire in snow, that is not what this edited picture looks like anymore.
This picture was taken while I was on vacation in Florida, at Universal Resorts. I edited the pictures so the only color was the lights. I wanted the viewer to see how many bright lights were there and to get the full effect of them. The globe is the symbol of universal and is shown in this picture.
